With most US workforce expected to work remotely well into 2021, demand for infrastructure leadership and support remains strong. Now more than ever, technologists are needed to build out and support the critical infrastructure necessary to ensure success when working remotely. That said, Software Developers and Project Managers remain firmly in their top-of-the-list slots as the demands of digital transformation initiatives continue. Consequently, in many cases they’ve been re-imagined to meet the evolving needs born out of the pandemic.

The increased rate of Senior Software Developer roles is an indication that employers are looking to build out their development teams from the top down and that mid-level roles will soon follow.

High demand for Python Developers suggests companies are looking to resume business as usual, focusing on data analytics and software development, which were fast-growing roles before the COVID-19 pandemic.
