Senior Java/Hybris Developer

Our direct client, a fast growing manufacturer of engineering instrumentation products and test equipment for commercial and military applications, they are building a new eCommerce platform built around Hybris. The Java/Hybris developer will perform technical analysis, design, construction code build, and unit testing of application software changes. You are also responsible for analyzing and resolving application maintenance or production issues as they arise.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop next generation eCommerce experiences for our customers
• Supervise, train, mentor other specialized programmers in Hybris
• Represent team in project meetings with other departments & outside vendors
• Work with business and functional analysts, and software & solution architects to develop programs and systems that function as intended.
• Work with third party entities and other teams on products and solutions
• Apply structured design and structured programming techniques to assigned tasks.
• Develop unit and system test cases and test plans, conduct testing activities.
• Provide application software / maintenance support.
• Provide on-call application Production support.
• Development of Automation solutions for the Initial Setup and Deployments of hybris eCommerce Environments.

Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 6+ Years of experience with Java
• 3+ years of experience Hybris
• Strong experience with Java, JSP, J2EE, jQuery, JavaScript, web services, and Spring Framework.
• Prior experience integrating Hybris with ERP backend, Salesforce CRM, and other major integrations.
• Experience using Agile and source code control applications.
• Out of the box thinker that enjoys working collaboratively with others on solutions.
