Title: Associate, CRM Technology

Position Overview:

As the Associate, CRM Technology you will support our Senior Manager, CRM Technology and you will play a vital role at the company. We are looking for a proactive individual with a high level of intellectual curiosity that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gather requirements, feedback, and design best practice solutions. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore the CRM Associate should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction as a priority.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and a desire to keep learning. The Associate, CRM Technology should be comfortable liaising with users and enjoy learning new business processes to translate them into technical solutions.

The Associate, CRM Technology will be responsible for performing general Salesforce administrative duties, assisting with the ongoing development of our Salesforce org, helping to deliver high-quality enhancements, and providing support throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be a forward thinker, motivated, fast learner, and excellent communicator. The candidate will possess knowledge of Salesforce system administration and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Salesforce administrators ensure that their Salesforce expertise translates into optimized department operations. 

Essential Functions:

  • Perform database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing to maintain data integrity throughout the
  • Create and maintain all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
  • Maintain the customized Salesforce modules which include Contracts, Grants, PNC, Development Reporting, Clinical Trials, etc.
  • Support technical and functional aspects for all areas of the business using Salesforce
  • Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, page layouts, fields, flows, process builder and workflow rules
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve user errors and escalate if needed
  • Engage with key stakeholders and their team members for requirement gathering and solution brainstorming
  • Perform mass data uploads and updates via Data Loader
  • Understand 3rd party integrations and how they impact Salesforce data
  • Evaluate and install new Salesforce releases as well as providing training and support.
  • Document processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.


  • 1-2 years in a Salesforce Administrator or related role
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related field.
  • Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification preferred.
  • Experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce Systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A self-starter with excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Data-driven, detail-oriented and a creative approach to new tasks, responsibilities and processes
  • Solution oriented individual who thrives in a fast paced and always evolving environment
  • Proficient with Excel and Business Intelligence tools
  • Desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud a plus.
  • Completed Trailhead Badges/Super Badges
  • Active in the Salesforce Community
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm towards continued personal/professional development
