Azure AI Software/Data Engineer - Long-term contract - Hybrid

For our direct client, a prestigious global firm in Northern NJ, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Data Scientist with expertise in Angular and .NET to join the client's dynamic development team on a long-term contract basis.
In this role, the consultant will work on custom Microsoft-based web applications, leveraging Azure AI services and the AI ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, design and build AI frameworks using Azure AI tools and other available resources.
- Produce POCs and conduct road shows and demos for the dev and business teams
- Able to produce quality artifacts like infrastructure landscaping, Network diagrams, Physical Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams and custom Auth flows.
- Develop innovative, scalable machine learning and data solutions through Azure Machine Learning Service.
- Translate complex business problems into effective AI models leveraging Azure AI and implement them into the IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise and architectural solutions in infrastructure, design, build, integration, and Re-Platforming of AI models using Azure technologies.
- Implement Azure Databricks for better analytics and to enhance AI applications in the organization.
- Ensure compliance with data governance principles in the field of AI, in particular, the secure handling of data using Azure Security Center.
Description of level of Qualifications
- Proven experience as an AI Engineer or similar role with extensive knowledge in Azure AI Services and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in Azure AI software and platforms including but not limited to Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services and Azure Bot Services.
- Well-versed with Supervised and Un-Supervised Machine Learning techniques
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as (Python, C#, Node, React and Angular ) and Azure supported languages.
- Expertise in Azure Data solutions and familiarity with Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, SPARK) is desirable.
- Experience in system integration, Cloud-based technologies including Azure cloud services and Azure data visualization tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to facilitate effective team collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to stay current with the latest AI trends and advancements, particularly in Azure
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, or related field
This position is primarily remote but the consultant should be able to drive to the Northern NJ (Montvale) office for meetings with the team several times monthly.
