Business Analyst - ServiceNow - Remote

Our direct client, is seeking an IT ServiceNow Business Analyst for an immediate Fully Remote position, (contract to hire). In this role, the perfect candidate will act as a critical link between stakeholders and the ServiceNow team throughout the development lifecycle.

The Analyst will:

  • collect and translate user needs and ideas into technical requirements which can be easily understood by the ServiceNow team
  • leverage their technical understanding of ServiceNow to make recommendations in alignment with best practices that improve user experience and boost process efficiency
  • demo new enhancements and features for stakeholders.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Developing a thorough understanding of the customer’s requirements and apply knowledge of ServiceNow to help design an optimal solution that supports the business process.
  • Document business, functional and technical requirements with sign-off from stakeholders.
  • Review completed builds to ensure that all business and functional requirements are satisfied.
  • Conduct enhancement and feature demonstrations to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver end-user training on new enhancements and features and the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with key stakeholders and subject-matter experts across the organization.
  • Assist with basic platform administration, as needed.

Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Science/Arts in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working with ServiceNow. Administrative experience preferred.
  • A minimum of four years’ experience collecting, analyzing, and documenting requirements.
  • Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) – Current or within 6 months of hire date
  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of networking, business continuity, security, and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and create excellent working relationships across departments and physical locations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter, quick learner, organized, and reliable.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a group setting
