Communications Specialist - Long Term Contract - Remote

The Communications Specialist will support a global transformation initiative to improve the consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness of how clients and engagements are evaluated across our global organization. They will apply a structured methodology to plan, design, and create communication materials including written material, presentations, and other specialized content to support the program’s organization change management strategy, as it relates to communication and transition activities. Please note this role will be fully remote and the selected candidate will not be expected to report to any onsite location. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage, refine, and implement a multi-channel communications strategy that engages a variety of internal global stakeholders ranging from C-Suite to staff level stakeholders
  • Manage and update a robust plan of communication events, channels, and content
  • Organize and plan communication campaigns
  • Write, design, and edit content and other media
  • Develop core communications materials, including messaging, briefing materials, presentations, and social content
  • Serve as trusted advisor to the Program and Organizational Change Management leads, and work closely with global communications teams
  • Adhere to the company's style guide and branding principles

Skills:

  • Minimum five years of recent experience working in Communications and preferably a related profession; Organizational Change Management experience a plus
  • Experience as a transformation consultant or a similar relevant role
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofing skills for business/corporate communications, as well as experience in digital content strategies
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Must have a high amount of creativity and vision
  • Prior experience leading or supporting a complex, global communications plan
  • Successful track record as a collaborator, multi-tasker, analytical thinker, and self-starter who exercises discretion and independent judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical aptitude; proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, communications measurement tools; video authoring software (examples: Camtasia, Articulate, Adobe Suite, Captivate)
  • Good organizational and planning skills; ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Communications, Public Affairs, Business, or related field; or the equivalent of relevant experience
