Credit Analyst – Hybrid:

Our direct client, based in New York City, is looking for a Credit Analyst .  This position serves as the primary analyst of structured and corporate transactions and could vary based on workload. They will perform high quality credit analysis with an expectation of well developed, credit and analytical expertise in the field of assignment.

Functions include rating and analyzing a high-volume portfolio of debt securities.  Analysts are also expected to actively contribute to various Security Valuation Office initiatives and projects on a regular basis.  This position works independently and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and maintain collegial relations with peers, and other internal and external customers. 

We are looking for a team member who would enjoy working for an organization that strives every day to support the public good and make a difference. This position is full-time, remote with in office requirements as scheduled.  Currently, once or twice a month.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required:

Master's degree (M.A.), M.B.A. in Finance or equivalent and/or CFA.  Related experience of 5 to 10 years with at least 5+ years of fundamental credit analysis, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience performing credit analysis of Structured Finance and Corporate securities at a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization (NRSRO or “credit rating agency”).  

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
