Our direct client is developing and implementing a new CRM system, and seeks an experienced data analyst to play a key role in analyzing and cleaning-up the customer data in their existing legacy system, and play a key role in building out data quality for the new system and after the migration and go-live.  This will be a long-term contract (12-24 months) and the work can be done remotely, 

We seek a data analyst with good SQL skills and experience working on a CRM data cleanup project like this in the past, who enjoys the challenge of analyzing and cleaning up data, who can work independently but collaborate well, and is looking to join the project and see it through to completion.   There may even be an opportunity for a full-time role, if desired by the consultant and client.   In this role you'll make an immediate and lasting impact on this project and to the company as a whole, as they move to the new CRM system.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and cleansing master data on legacy, operational and data warehouse systems
• Ensuring accurate data transformation to Salesforce CRM
• Identifying improvement areas for data quality and making recommendations to business owners
• Developing and maintaining reports 
• Working with IT to understand data structures across different systems and data providers

Experience Desired:

• Previous experience in data entry / data cleansing
• Passion for data quality and experience developing and working with data cleansing processes
• A solid understanding of database structures
• Keen attention to detail and great organizational skills
• Self-sufficiency and the ability to work on individual projects, but also the ability to work well in team settings
• Experience writing SQL and running SQL Scripts to extract and analyze data
• Solid MS Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

Nice to have:

• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Experience with SSRS, SQL Server, DB2
