We seek an experienced IT Project Manager for a multi-year contract, which can be done remotely, to project manage Technical Integration and Data workstreams for a key technology Transformation program, a multi-year initiative to establish new processes for our client's assessment of sales and project opportunities, based on a new technology platform; the new platform is heavily integrated with other up/downstream global applications.
We seek a Project Manager who's had experience with global applications implementations, involving systems integration and data migration.
Any experience with the following is a plus:
– Service Now
– SalesForce
– Other Sales/CRM applications
– Professional Services/Consulting businesses

Location – anywhere in US
Need flex in working hours – could be early morning meetings with Europe, and some later-evening meetings with Asia-Pac, from time to time.

Standard PM capabilities are key:
– Project Managers are expected to ensure that their projects deliver on the required outputs detailed in their Project Charters, within the specified time and financial constraints.
-There is a strong focus on financial management, coordination of delivery team resources, and closely monitoring and maintaining detailed project plans.
– It is expected that status reporting, issue and risk management is undertaken on a timely basis and adheres the reporting cycles within their individual portfolio’s and executive reporting mandated by the GPMO PMO team
– Project Managers will be expected to follow the in-house project lifecycle from inception to completion using standard project lifecycle practices and artifacts.
– Agile and Waterfall SDLC experience are both needed
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Coordinate and facilitate amongst project resources to ensure project execution
- Ensure project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop detailed project plan to track progress
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs and follow a formal CR process
- Report and escalate issues / risks to management as needed
- Manage the day to day relationship with the client and stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in project management disciplines, with experience planning and executing projects and programs. Strong experience managing both IT and Business projects preferred.
- Strong project management skills with experience in organizing, prioritizing, planning, and executing projects from definition through implementation, involving internal personnel and third-party contractors
- Requires excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with project team members, project sponsors, functional leads, and senior management in a matrixed environment
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and passionate
- Drive and demonstrated success working independently in a virtual environment
- Capable of strategic thinking and of moving strategic plans into action
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university
Certification:
PMP and Scrum certified or comprehensive experience
