IT Support Manager
IT Operations Manager
Our direct client, an industry-leading global company, in Westchester County, NY is looking for a hands-on Operations Manager. In this role, you will collaborate with end users and the development team to build and maintain operational capability on our Microsoft cloud stack: Microsoft 365 / Dynamics 365 / Power Platform / Azure, and our legacy Java/Weblogic/SQL Server application. You will experience a workload that is heavy on IT operations and systems administration tasks with a small but critical management component.
Responsibilities:
- You will manage and prioritize the pipeline of operations work, collaborate with our MSP and other vendors, and supervise the Systems Administrator while sharing his workload.
- You will ensure an effective technical support experience for our employees.
- You will execute and maintain scalable, always-on, secure systems integrations.
- You will create and maintain Azure DevOps boards, repos, and pipelines.
- You will oversee and perform maintenance and management of our Azure virtual machines and employee-issued devices, including patch and backup management, server OS upgrades.
- You will procure and maintain inventory of hardware and software.
- You will identify and implement opportunities to automate existing workloads.
- You will assess new technologies for existing applications.
- You will ensure compliance with corporate IT security and audit requirements.
- You will share your expertise with team members and collaborate to enhance and maintain firm’s next generation of systems and applications.
Experience:
- You have 5+ years of technical operations experience in a Microsoft environment.
- You have created and maintained solutions using several of the following technologies and platforms: Azure (VM management, DevOps boards and pipelines), SQL Server, Power BI, Sharepoint, Power Apps, Power Automate / Flow, Power Apps Portal / Dynamics Portal, CE/CRM, Dual Write, Dynamics 365 F&O, Mimecast, Weblogic.
- You can demonstrate capability to prioritize, delegate, and execute technical tasks.
- You have a degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- You are passionate about performing hands-on technology work, and you are open to learning and participating in a wide range of technology-related tasks.
- You excel in a collaborative team environment.
