Privacy Manager – Long-term Contract – REMOTE
|
Responsibilities:
Support ongoing efforts around Schrems II Transfer Impact Assessments requirements. This includes providing support to operationalize and document requirements for BAU.
|
|
Support efforts to operationalize our Transfer Impact Assessment and Privacy Impact Assessment work into an automated process, through our implementation of the OneTrust Technology Privacy Solution.
|
|
Collaborate with application owners and other stakeholders to manage the firm’s privacy risk by conducting Transfer Impact Assessments and Privacy Impact Assessments for their global applications and documenting the analysis in the OneTrust Technology Tool.
|
|
Provide support in the creation of the Privacy Program guidance and training materials.
|
|
Support the development and implementation of the client’s global information management and protection strategy. This includes supporting efforts to update current policies and standards to comply with applicable privacy laws and regulations with respect to cross-border transfers of personal data.
|
Skills:
- Minimum five years of professional work experience in one or more of the following areas: privacy, information protection, data protection, privacy risk management, enterprise risk management, privacy operations, legal privacy and compliance, within a corporate environment, government organization, legal/consulting firm (global organizations preferred)
- Privacy knowledge, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Schrems II decision requirements
- Understanding of risk management or privacy frameworks and controls
- Background working on large-scale projects and the ability to manage multiple processes and projects at once
- Experience collecting, organizing and inputting business information into documentation or systems
- Strong ability to multi-task and work independently within a global team
- Methodical approach to work, attention to detail and delivery of high-quality results

· Experience with OneTrust Data Mapping and Privacy Impact Assessment modules highly desired, but not required.
· Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
· Excellent, clear, concise and timely communication skills (both verbal and written).
· Excellent organization, status tracking and recordkeeping skills.
· Ability to track and report on project activities
· Organizational skills to manage workflow, responses to stakeholders, and intake of information across multidisciplinary teams

Education:
- Understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other privacy regulations with respect to cross-border transfer of personal data.
- Familiarity with Schrems II Transfer Impact Assessment (“TIA”) requirements or equivalent experience with similar privacy activities.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Relevant Privacy, Information Protection or Risk Management certification (e.g., IAPP, CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CRISC) desired, but not required.
