React Developer – 100% Remote:
Our direct client, a fast-growing digital healthcare company based in NY, is looking for a front-end developer with React experience. Client’s mission is to help advance the discovery of new medications and treatments, working with patients, pharmaceutical and biotech companies. This position can be 100% remote. You will write lots of typescript, build UIs, submit pull requests, participate in code reviews, and help to build top notch healthcare products. You are also expected to be proficient with CSS.
Responsibilities:

• Design and develop React frontend components
• Integrate REST api backend endpoints
• Develop frontend dashboards and forms
• Write css/sass for styling visual elements
• Help us fix bugs and advise on best practices
• Write secure testable code including unit tests
• Integrate code with CI/CD pipelines
• Work with team leads on requirements and communicate level-of-effort and timelines
• Submit and review pull requests

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of JavaScript frontend development experience (including css)
• 6+ years of CSS experience
• 4+ years of React experience
• 4+ years of Typescript experience
• Experience with Git, pull requests, and code reviews (you should understand Git rebase)
• Experience with agile software development and Kanban
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Tools and IDEs:

• Use the OS, IDE, and code editor of your choice. We have team members using WebStorm, vscode, and vim, working on macOS, Linux, and windows. You are expected to be proficient with git, we use GitHub for managing code.

Nice to have skills

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with GoLang
