Scrum Master – Hybrid:
Our direct client, based in White Plains NY, is seeking a Scrum Master.  This role is to develop and support client’s enterprise data applications and platforms. We use Agile delivery model to design, develop, and support our applications in a hybrid Scrum/Kanban model.  We are seeking talented Scrum Master who has experience working with teams to deliver software projects in a fast-paced environment.
Organizational Relationships:

• Product owner
• Product stakeholders
• Scrum team members: Developers, QA testers, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Project Manager
• IT Teams: QA, Security, DevOps, DBA, Architecture, Infrastructure, PMO
• IT Leadership: Director and Senior Director positions in IT organization

Responsibilities:

• Organize and facilitate agile framework ceremonies for agile teams
• Identifies, tracks, and removes impediments for feature/project and team success.
• Ensures planning of go-live and deployment activities and facilitate their execution
• Ensures that all team members understand and accept their roles and responsibilities
• Monitors sprint velocity and works with team to determine how they can continue to improve on velocity and recognize additional efficiencies as they mature
• Tracks and reports key project metrics, informing stakeholders as appropriate
• Coordinates participation of different Technology and business groups in requirements gathering, specifications, design, development, and implementation of key projects
• Learns, understands, and actively uses Azure DevOps to effectively manage the team’s backlog and sprint-committed items
• Facilitates change management strategies related to team backlogs to ensure value delivery is optimized
• May resolve conflict between team members
• Facilitates the creation of product and sprint backlogs
• Maintain process documentation in collaboration with other Scrum Teams
• Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments. Communicate with other management, developers, product owners and technical support specialists on product issues
• Coach and mentor teams to identify efficiencies to improve our ability to release quality products early and often
• Coordinate system and project dependencies for releases

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in IT in technical or project management position
• 5+ years of experience in Agile software development environment
• Scrum Master Certification
• Experience with agile development tools, Azure DevOps preferred
• Understanding of end-to-end design/development/delivery of enterprise software applications with highest quality/reliability through thorough unit/integration/system tests
