For our direct client, we seek an experienced Software Architect for a 6-mo project with potential extension, that can be done remotely (in US). 

In this role, you will advise and provide architecture services on a large new project that involves the development of a new system which is going to replace a business-critical internal system.   There are multiple internal applications which are interconnected, and data will need to be written back into certain systems as the transition to the new system is made.    There are several external solutions providers and integrators involved in the project;  The consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to the CIO and the client's internal development team, as the project moves forward.   

Qualifications:
10+ years software development experience
5+ years architect experience
5+ years experience with complex transactional systems
Deep experience developing APIs
Deep experience with Data Migrations, ETL, including DB2 
Any experience with SalesForce, Boomi, is a plus

The client is located in the New York Metro area – the work will be done remotely.  Immediate interview and hire, the client would like to engage a consultant in December – the project will be initially 6 months but could well be extended beyond.
