Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) -- Long-term Contract
2-year contract for an experienced Test Automation Software Engineer in a prestigious financial company. In this role, the Engineer will be responsible for automation of regression testing to augment manual System Testing and UAT. The Test Automation Software Engineer will work closely with Software Engineers in a Scrum team to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner. This is a hands-on, full development lifecycle role which provides an opportunity to solve complex business, data and technical challenges. As a key contributor throughout the entire development cycle, you will be required to think outside the box and bring cutting edge technology in-house.

REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience building test automation for Java or C# applications in an AWS environment
Experience working within a Scrum team and solid understanding Agile principles
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and JMeter
Solid database querying knowledge. Preference for PostgreSQL
Confident communicator; able to argue a point concisely and deal positively with conflicting views.
Enthusiasm for learning & results oriented.

Experience with NodeJS

Ideally, candidates will be located in the Maryland area commutable to Owings Mills on a Hybrid schedule (M-F from Home, Tues-Wed-Thurs in the office). There is also the option for an experienced candidate to work fully remotely.
