Sr. Business Processes Analyst - Remote - Long Term Contract

For our direct client, a global firm, we seek an experienced Sr. Business Process Analyst to work on a large new application and associated processes for the business.  This is a multi-year contract that can be done remotely on East-Coast US Hours. 

Role:  
The Business Process Analyst will support a cross functional transformation initiative to improve the consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness of how clients and engagements are evaluated across the global organization. They will work with Business Process Owners to analyze, design, and formalize service delivery frameworks, from strategy and vision statements through planning and implementation. The incumbent will be responsible for producing operating models, process and procedural documentation, policies, resource and skillset requirements, implementation plans, and presentations to support several aspects of the transformation program, with a focus on identifying opportunities to improve consistency, reliability, efficiency, and performance of supporting services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Gathering data, analyzing, and developing recommendations to meet business objectives
  • Facilitating process workshops to gather business process modeling notations and requirements
  • Developing journey maps to visualize a process and identify key personas, critical touchpoints, and challenges
  • Working closely with business partners to analyze business processes and workflows for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Working with process owners to develop innovative service deliver and operating model solutions, and performance metrics
  • Applying organizational change management strategy and tools to enable adoption of future state business models
  • Developing comprehensive procedural documentation and workflows, as well as executive-level presentations
Skills:
  • Strong process mapping and business process reengineering
  • Proven experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations
  • Ability to see the big picture, understand short-term needs as well as long-term business objectives
  • Organized with strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Experience as a transformation consultant or a similar relevant role
  • Expert level experience with MS Visio and MS PowerPoint
  • Business Process Management, LEAN Six Sigma experience is a plus
  • Experience using an online business process mapping tool such as Blueworks Live is a plus
  • Working knowledge of ITSM framework and tools is a plus
  • Candidate should be prepared to provide examples of previous relevant deliverables they produced
Education:
