Sr. SalesForce Developer – Long-term contract

For our direct client, we seek an experienced SalesForce developer to join the team, to work on integrations and enhancements as a new SalesForce-based CRM and Order Management system is implemented.   

This will be a long-term (12 mo. +) contract position, with a possibility of contract-to-hire later on.  The client’s main office is near Norwalk, CT and while the work will be primarily remote, and a fully remote worker in the US is acceptable, they would love to find someone in the Northeast US who could make occasional visits to the main office.  

**Role Summary:** As a Sr. Salesforce Developer, you will play a crucial role in customizing, developing, and deploying solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will work closely with our project managers, business analysts, vendor partners, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective, scalable solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Design and develop high-quality Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
– Design with an eye towards modern Lightning-style UI elements
– Collaborate with team members to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
– Implement integrations with other business systems using Salesforce APIs.
– Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and security guidelines.
– Assist in the migration of legacy systems to Salesforce and the integration of Salesforce with other platforms.
– Provide technical support and maintenance for Salesforce applications.

**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
– 10+ years overall development experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, including experience with Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning.
– Experience with Copado and Copado administration is a plus
– Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
– Experience with Salesforce customization and configuration.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
– A Salesforce Developer Certification is highly preferred.
