Technical Support Analyst

Our direct client, a health care provider with over 200 facilities nationwide, in White Plains is seeking a Technical Support Analyst with a broad understanding of network, server and application support experience.  Client’s systems/applications are mostly in-house developed (i.e. mixed of .Net, Java and other open source applications), you don’t need to have any prior knowledge with the specific technology stack, you will be trained on the job to support these applications.  However, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  • Great communication skills both oral and written (this position requires extensive documentation, so they must be able to type quickly).
  • Solid understand of technology with broad skills (we have a complex environment and we support a platform of services made up of many technologies)
  • Passionate about support (great problem solver) while remaining disciplined (can follow standards, policies, practices, checklists)
  • Values the team above the individual


What we are looking to avoid

  • We are looking for someone who is interested in making Support Services their career. This is not a stepping stone to another position.
  • Due to the amount of time it takes for ramp up, we are not looking for someone who is going to want or expect to make a move from this role within at least 3 years.
  • We are not looking for system admins, network admins, technical operations, server support or those wishing to make a career in those areas in the short- or medium-range.
  • We are not looking for desktop support, break-fix, desk-side support, or individuals whose primary support has been dealing with desktop support (installing/uninstalling software, imaging workstations, servicing hard drives, etc.)
