Position Title:  Shared Applications and Platforms Manager

Position Overview

A large global, client of ours has a long term consulting opportunity for a Shared Applications and Platforms Manager.  Candidates must reside in either the Eastern or Central time. This is a remote positionResponsibilities will be to lead the design, build, test and deployment of shared applications and platforms common across IT and OT. for the new. Responsibilities include selection and delivery of Integration Middleware, Document Management, Mobile technology and creation of a common development environment. The role is also responsible for the scope definition and coordinating work required with integrating with legacy systems across all sites. This position requires a highly experienced manager with success in delivering across IT and OT domains to budget and schedule.  The candidate will report to the Digital Integration Lead who has overall accountability for developing the enterprise architecture, data excellence, process integration and integrated deployment of shared infrastructure and platforms.

The successful candidate will:
•    Report to Digital Integrated Lead collaborating with the Business Functions and Operations delivery streams and associated Partners and 3rd Parties
•    Manages the Shared Applications and Platforms stream including all resources, scope, costs, timelines and associated status tracking escalating issues to the Digital Integration Lead as required 
•    Collaborates with Business Functions and Operations streams in clarifying scope and confirming requirements for all  Shared Applications and Platforms
•    Leads the requirements gathering, application selection and implementation of the Integration Platform (including middleware build/configuration for interfaces)
•    Assists the Integration Architect in defining the integration standards and partner/vendor responsibilities expected in using the Integration Platform
•    Coordinates all integration build activities tracking progress across all streams and 3rd parties ensuring convergence to SIT (System Integration Testing) milestones
•    Leads the design and implementation of the standardized technology stack required for “in-fill” between off-the-shelf applications (Agile Solutions Common Development Environment)
•    In accordance with Data Strategies and Architecture defined by the Data Excellence stream, deliver the data platforms common across IT and OT
•    Leads the requirements gathering, application selection and implementation of the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform allowing the delivery streams to automate selected processes as needed
•    Oversees the requirements gathering, application selection and implementation of the various document management solutions ensuring no unnecessary duplication in capabilities and specific functional needs are met
•    Leads the design and development of any changes required to the existing Enterprise Content Management and Collaboration systems to meet requirements
•    With support from the Lead Transition Architect, manages the impact analysis, requirements capture, design and implementation of any changes required to integrate with existing legacy solutions

Skills and Qualifications
A candidate that we would love would be:
•    20+ years’ experience with major transformation programs involving both IT and OT systems
•    A proven track record in delivering challenging projects in a multi-vendor environment on time and budget
•    A natural ability to drive alignment where there are disparate views
•    Skilled in Agile delivery methods
•    Hands on experience in a manufacturing (preferably)

?    Exposure or direct experience with Operational Readiness practices and organizational change management
?    Ability to quickly build broad network of business relationships and bridge the connection with technical SMEs

?    Expert in digital and emerging technologies (both IT and OT)
?    Application of AI in real world environments
?    Experience with managing delivery in highly complex integrated environments involving multiple 3rd parties
?    Awareness of the ISA95 framework and associated IT and OT integration challenges
?    Fit-for-purpose application of lean start-up/agile methods 
?    Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and practices
?    Experience with delivering Integration Middleware, Data / Reporting Platforms
?    Transition planning with legacy systems and managing interim legacy system integrations
?    Experience with ERP roll-outs
?    Broad experience with IT/OT solutions in mining and/or manufacturing
