Writer / Content Developer - REMOTE - long-term contract

Our direct client has multiple articles and other content residing in a web portal that's accessed by the company's global employees, and this content needs to be edited and cleaned-up as they have recently moved to a new portal platform.  We seek an experienced writer who has good experience working with subject-matter experts, to help edit the existing content, and possibly create some new content as well. 

This position can be done remotely in the US, on primarily East-coast hours.   It is a contract position, 40 hours/week for 6 months with possible extension beyond. 

We seek a Writer, storyteller, editor, and content curator who can deliver and market rich, brand-building content to support the client's products, services, and thought leadership initiatives. A wordsmith who can craft focused messaging intended for a global audience, and bring wittiness to social media campaigns, creativity to product descriptions, and conviction to case studies, blog posts, press releases, and white papers. Writing style mixes editorial efficiency with a flair for inspiring and motivating customer action. Write and edit copy for inbound marketing purposes (case studies, blog posts, white papers, emails, and e-newsletters), as well as communications about company products, events, industry news, etc.

Write and edit emails, push notifications, SMS copy, blog posts, landing pages, print materials, social media posts, and other content. Create hard-hitting copy that drives action and media performance while also doing service to the brand. Work closely with subject matter experts, customers, and nonprofit recipients to develop compelling messages and content that enhance our brand voice and connects us with both current and potential customers. Research relevant industry, product, and partnership topics. Write and edit promotional copy, emails, website, and other materials. Maintain, enforce, and help to update corporate style guide and voice & tone standards. Ensure branding standards are consistent and maintained across writing assignments.



Well-developed writing, editing, and communications skills; deep understanding of what makes a compelling story. Ability to nimbly balance brand voice with marketing strategies. A conceptual mind that considers not just copy, but design and visuals. 


A university degree is preferred
