CT Tech Week
Strong technology communities are built through collaboration, leadership, and organizations willing to invest in bringing people together. That's why Benchmark IT is proud to support the partnerships, conversations, and initiatives helping strengthen Connecticut's technology ecosystem.
As a Connecticut technology recruiting and IT staffing partner, we invest our time, leadership, and resources into the organizations shaping our state's technology landscape. By sponsoring events, supporting industry organizations, and connecting technology leaders, we're helping build relationships that drive innovation across Connecticut.
Leading Conversations During CT Tech Week
Connecticut's inaugural CT Tech Week brought together innovators, entrepreneurs, educators, business leaders, investors, and technology professionals from across the state to celebrate innovation and explore what's next. Benchmark was proud to support several initiatives throughout the week, helping foster meaningful conversations and strengthen Connecticut's growing technology community.
As a longtime supporter of the Business Technology Network (BTN) and Women in Tech Stamford (WITS), Benchmark proudly sponsored Leadership in the Age of AI: From Experimentation to Accountability, a featured CT Tech Week event created by BTN and WITS.
The discussion focused on how organizations are moving beyond AI experimentation into real-world implementation, governance, cybersecurity, accountability, and leadership. Panelists Alyssa Harvey Dawson, N.T. Shiv Kumar, Danica Tarin, and Bryan Chnowski shared practical insights on leading organizations through rapid technological change.
Benchmark also proudly sponsored and helped promote Women in Tech: Retention, Resilience, and Real Change, hosted by the Stamford Partnership in collaboration with the Connecticut Technology Council, Women of Innovation, Women in Tech Stamford (WITS), and Southern Connecticut State University.
Moderated by Dr. Jackie Garofano, the discussion featured Dr. Colleen Bielitz, Patricia Fisher, and Tanya Henneghan, who shared perspectives on strengthening leadership pipelines, retaining women in technology, and building a more resilient and inclusive workforce.
Together, these events reflected the collaborative spirit driving Connecticut's technology ecosystem—from responsible AI adoption and executive leadership to workforce development. Through our continued leadership and support of BTN and WITS, Benchmark is proud to help create opportunities for meaningful dialogue, encourage collaboration, and strengthen the relationships that fuel long-term growth throughout Connecticut's technology community.
Supporting Connecticut's Technology Ecosystem
Our commitment extends well beyond the events we sponsor.
Throughout CT Tech Week, our team also participated in Digital Future Fest, connecting with innovators, entrepreneurs, educators, investors, founders, and technology leaders from across the region. These conversations help us better understand emerging technologies, workforce trends, and the evolving needs of Connecticut's innovation economy.
Benchmark also supports organizations such as the Southwest Connecticut Tech Hub, whose mission to strengthen Connecticut's innovation economy and develop technology talent closely aligns with our own. Beyond CT Tech Week, our leadership team remains actively engaged with organizations that bring together employers, technology professionals, educators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to encourage collaboration and support long-term growth across the state's technology sector.
By staying closely connected to the community, we gain valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities facing today's technology organizations—insights that ultimately help us better serve both the companies and professionals we partner with every day.
Looking Ahead
Technology has always been about people.
Behind every innovation are individuals willing to collaborate, share ideas, and invest in one another. That's why Benchmark remains committed to supporting the organizations and initiatives shaping Connecticut's technology ecosystem.
Community isn't built through a single event or a single week. It's built through lasting relationships, shared knowledge, and leadership that brings people together. We're grateful to work alongside BTN, WITS, the Stamford Partnership, the Connecticut Technology Council, the Southwest Connecticut Tech Hub, and many others who continue strengthening Connecticut's technology community.
Whether through executive search, IT staffing, industry leadership, or continued community involvement, Benchmark remains committed to helping strengthen Connecticut's innovation economy. We believe that stronger connections create stronger companies, stronger careers, and stronger technology leaders.
"Technology is ultimately about people. The stronger our technology community becomes, the stronger the companies, professionals, and future leaders within it become as well. At Benchmark IT, supporting organizations that bring people together isn't simply community involvement—it's an investment in Connecticut's future."
